Pre-Season Outlook
Jefferson spent the first three years of his career with the Rams. During that time, the veteran had one season with more than 369 yards. Last year, the receiver played with the Falcons and averaged one reception per game. Sure, Jefferson had an 800-yard season in 2021, but at this point, that season appears to be an outlier. The wideout is now on the Steelers. Although there will potentially be competition for the No. 2 role, Jefferson doesn't seem to be the favorite to win it. During this year's draft, Pittsburgh selected Roman Wilson in the third round. In addition, the team has the speedy Calvin Austin on the roster. Ultimately, Jefferson has not been targeted more than 44 times in either of the past two seasons. It seems unlikely the receiver will surpass that total this season.

Analysis: The rookie played just 19 offensive snaps, so he was definitely a factor when on the field.
